<p>Google's acquisition of doubleclick heralds a Megatrend in the online advertising space. Google will innovate and push the boundaries when it comes to digital media. This means a higher emphasis on measurement, monitoring and control in the hands of the user. I was involved in managing the online advertising for a large youth portal and it was very frustrating how many limitations I had to contend with in terms of making changes. I look forward to Google's contribution in this space.
