There are many older videos on the site that are longer than 10 minutes, yet the majority of the videos are short. Even before the limit, not many folks wanted to post longer ones, apparently, even though they could have done so. Bandwidth might have been a factor, but who knows. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One of my websites offers WordPress tutorials stored on YouTube. I can&#039;t tell you how many times I have run over the 10 minute limit while recording a tutorial - D-oh! - only to have to record it all over again. (I have limited editing capabilities with my low-budget recording software.) So I, for one, will welcome the lifting of that limit.
