This is so on target it isn't funny. I've come across a fair amount of companies that simply can't "translate" their offline efforts into online marketing or branding strategies.

Doug,

I've already responded to your private email regarding this, but since you're covering all corners of the Web I'll join you here, too. :)

I wouldn't have joined We Build Pages if I didn't believe in the direction they were headed. They've done a lot of recruiting lately and everyone has been brought on for very strategic reasons. I'm no different. In time I think you'll come to see that my thoughts on SEO and how it should be practiced have not changed. Jim has assembled an amazing team here and we're doing things the right way, in a very big way. It's We Build Pages 2.0 and we're just getting started.

Have a little faith, friend. :)

White Hatly Yours,
Lisa

Got a related question for you Lisa; Since your personal name of Lisa Barone has a certain amount of branding to it in regards to working for Bruce Clay and known as a white hat, etc... now that you are working for "some other" hmm, erm...seo; do you think your personal brand changes as well?
Considering the type of firm.... yes.
I'm VERY shocked Lisa.

So what happens when the market changes and your brand no longer relates to the new market? Do you still try to push the same image or do you adjust. Look what Levi did with Jeans and some of the competition stayed with their branding and got left behind.
