What a long strange trip it’s been, huh? Today I say goodbye after 6 years, 7 months and 17 days at Bruce Clay, Inc. You can read the official good-bye here and a bit about what’s in my future now and why in my guest post on Outspoken Media today.
Enough about me. Let’s get recappy.

I don’t know how to start this blog post so I’m just going to say it straight out: This is my last week here at Bruce Clay, Inc. Friday will be my last day here and then I’m off onto new adventures.

We’re back from a wonderful week in Seattle at my favorite conference, SMX Advanced. Schema.org, Panda 2.2 and Periodic Table were all hot topics over the last few days. If you missed all the coverage while it was going on, never fear, we’ve wrapped it all up below.

Last regular session of the day and then it’s the Matt Cutts show. Are you excited? I’m excited about how I’m losing feeling in my fingertips. It sort of tingles.
I expect this to be a popular session since everyone is obsessed with links. And because Ross Hudgens is adorable.

After a very long and delicious lunch courtesy of our friends at AimClear (there was cake!), I’ve had a sufficient amount of rest to dive into this panel. I hope.
How hard can a panel called “The Really Complicated Technical SEO Infrastructure Issues” be to liveblog, right? It’s not like the panel is full of totally smart people who can think rings around the rest of us or anything…

Good morning, my friends. Welcome to the first morning of this super quick but super awesome two day conference that we call SMX Advanced. It’s the fifth anniversary of this conference and my, how it has grown.
It’s gray and just a little bit rainy here in Seattle but inside it’s all good times and sunshine. That’s because we have a fantastic panel about to discuss my eternal nemesis — Analytics.
Includes two exciting Feature Announcements from Google Analytics.

After lunch. Three sessions to go. Energy fading fast. Coffee in hand.
Still no bagels.

There’s so much star power on that stage, it’s blinding. I hope they’re giving away (to me) the books…oh it’s a raffle. Bother.

Nothing is working right now. The wifi is slow, so is WordPress and my computer. Argh. On the other hand, this is the first all female panel I’ve seen at this show. Happiness is me.
Last day, first session. Still without a bagel. Last night, I was assaulted by hail. New York, you are on notice.
However, we’ve got a couple of sessions today that I picked because they just sounded so different than the norm and I’m actually excited about them. This is the first of them and here’s the panel.
