SEO Training and Conferences – Bruce Clay Housekeeping

With so many internal nuggets floating around in my pretty little head, I thought it was time to share them with you. Let’s break it down!

Farewell, SMX West

Last week was SMX West and Bruce Clay, Inc. had an absolutely wonderful time talking to people in the booth, participating in the search events and networking after hours. It’s always great to roll up to these things and be surrounded by old friends and to have the opportunity to meet new ones. Thanks to everyone for stopping by the booth and saying hi.

If you missed our liveblogging coverage, feel free to visit our SMX West coverage archive. Or, if you’re just looking for the major themes and the biggest takeaways, you can also check out new writer Virginia’s SEO Newsletter article from yesterday entitled The Essence of SMX West 2008.

SEO Training In The UK, Australia & The States

We’ve finally locked down dates the next edition of our UK SEO training course in London so I thought it would be wise to share them with you (you know, travel arrangements and all). Got your pens ready?

Okay, the new UK SEO training course will take place 11-13 November and will be led by Bruce himself, as well as Bruce Clay UK’s Chief SEO Analyst Marie Howell. Seating is limited so if you’re interested, I’d encourage you to sign up fast. The last UK training session sold out pretty quickly. Speaking of, you can read about our last UK SEO training course on the blog to get an idea of what you’re in for.

It’s worth noting that we’ll be doing our Australian SEO course 17-20 March and you can catch the next round of SEO training here in the States on April 7-11. Lots and lots of chances to start the year off all SEO-educated and stuff. There’s still time to sign up, but not much. Don’t miss out.

Ad:Tech Sydney and SES New York

Our most observant readers will notice that our Aussie training course takes place the same week that SES New York hits. Since we haven’t yet been able to clone Bruce (though he has agreed to it), this means he’ll won’t be in NY to sign all your Bruce Clay schwag. Fear not, though. You’ll still be able to catch other Bruce Clay folk manning our booth, and of course I’ll be fed to the wolves in my attempt to liveblog another 85 billion sessions. Hopefully the open sores on my fingers that developed during SMX West’s mad typing spree will have healed by then. Otherwise, I shall invest in gloves.

We’ll also be featuring a fun interview with SES speaker Michael Boland from the Kelsey Group soon. We’re going to dig into some local search stuff and try to squeeze some dirt out of him before his big talk in New York. We should have that ready for you next week, so keep an eye out!

And though Bruce won’t be in New York, you can catch him speaking at Ad:Tech Sydney. He’ll be there March 12-13 and will be speaking on Search Engine Optimisation panel happening on Thursday afternoon.

And that’s it. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
