1. The eMarketing Association

The eMarketing Association offers certificate programs in e-marketing that include courses in email marketing. The website displays training testimonials from public and governmental organizations like Intel and the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Advanced Email Marketing Course provides a comprehensive learning program for email marketing. The course is designed for marketers with a general knowledge of e-marketing techniques and processes. Students should complete the e-marketing course first or have general experience in e-marketing before taking this advanced course.

Each course consists of five lessons, each with its own small quiz. There is a final exam at the end of the course. Students passing the exam receive a certificate via postal mail. Courses use online lessons, secure testing, teacher interaction via email and email resources.

Curriculum: The Advanced Email Marketing Course curriculum covers Permission Marketing, Email List Rental, Email List Compilation, Software Platforms for Email Delivery, Legal Issues, Spam, Design Techniques for Effective Email, Writing Styles to Increase Response, Ethics, Email Marketing Metrics, Hyperlinks in Email, HTML Vs. Plain Text, Using Rich Media and Graphics, Filtering Systems, Email Bounces, Timing of Email Releases, Managing Email Marketing, ASP Solutions for Email Campaigns, Privacy Issues, COPPA Issues (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), Email Marketing Planning, Demographic and Psychographics Applications and Strategic Positioning of Email in the Media Mix.

eMA Course Fees: Fees are $99.00 for non-members and $75.00 for all eMA Members

All e-courses are sent out within 24 hours after receipt of an online payment. Courses may be completed at the student's own pace online.

The Advanced Email Marketing Course provides a contemporary and comprehensive learning program for email marketing. The course is designed for marketers with a general knowledge of e-marketing techniques and processes. Students should complete the e-marketing course first or have general experience in e-marketing prior to taking this advanced course. The course is instructor led via e-mail, a student board and web based instruction. The course consists of five interactive lessons and a final exam. Each lesson takes about three hours to complete; the entire course takes about four weeks. A personalized certificate of completion will be mailed to you at the end of the course. Regardless of the posted "Start Anytime" or fixed dates published, the course starts on the 1st of each month.
