\"\"SIMI VALLEY, CA, March 10, 2010 – The Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization (SEMPO<\/a>) has announced its new Board of Directors for 2010–2012, which will include Bruce Clay, founder and president of search engine marketing<\/a> company Bruce Clay, Inc.<\/p>\n

This is Bruce Clay’s second term, having served on SEMPO’s board since 2008. “I believe in SEMPO’s mission, which is to promote education, research, awareness, ethical practices, and cohesiveness within the search marketing industry,” he stated. “Being membership-based, SEMPO can represent and unify our rapidly growing professional community. The board of directors plays a unique role in helping guide and facilitate that growth through services and initiatives. It’s an honor to contribute my time and experience to this worthwhile organization.”<\/p>\n

SEMPO, founded in 2002, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the search engine marketing industry through education and awareness. Board members serve a two-year term, and the new term will begin on March 18. The election ballot contained 35 nominees, from which 13 were elected to the new Board of Directors<\/a>. The Board of Directors is in charge of SEMPO’s budget, membership, initiatives and member benefits.<\/p>\n
