Whether it&#8217;s a print ad in a magazine, a pay per click (PPC)<br \/>\nad on a Web page, or a sponsored listing on a search engine results<br \/>\npage (SERP), your message must call out to the person reading it. You<br \/>\nmay be advertising in the right place at the right time, however,<br \/>\nwithout the right message, you will have a problem. If you&#8217;re not<br \/>\nappealing directly to the person who is reading your ad, you risk them<br \/>\nseeing it without realizing how it relates to them.<\/p>\n<p>If the ad is a PPC ad, your potential customer has executed a search<br \/>\nand is looking for something specific. If you write your PPC creatives<br \/>\nto speak directly to them, there&#8217;s a better chance they will click on<br \/>\nyour pay per click advertisment and visit your Web site.<\/p>\n<p>So what characteristics do you look to include when writing ad copy for a PPC search engine marketing campaign?<\/p>\n<p>First, be sure to use your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bruceclay.com\/in\/\/ppc\/keywords\/\">keywords<\/a><br \/>\nin your title and even in the description when you can. If possible,<br \/>\nstart your title with the keyword or keyword phrase. For the<br \/>\ndescription, understand that people want to accomplish or learn<br \/>\nsomething, be entertained or take advantage of an offer. People are<br \/>\nmotivated by fear, money, hope, lust, despair, health, safety,<br \/>\neducation, appearance, status etc. (Although maybe not all at the same<br \/>\ntime!) You will want to include a reason for someone to choose to<br \/>\nrespond to your PPC ad and take action. Care about their problem and<br \/>\ncreate an emotional statement using action oriented language. Remember<br \/>\nW.I.I.F.M. What&#8217;s in it for me?<\/p>\n<p>For example, perhaps you are offering a health resort vacation<br \/>\npackage. You might appeal to potential customers about the opportunity<br \/>\nto get in shape and improve their appearances. Or maybe they just need a<br \/>\nvacation from the daily stress of home and work. Appeal to their wants<br \/>\nand needs and they&#8217;ll be enticed to click-through.<\/p>\n<p>Your pay per click ads might look something like this:<\/p>\n<p>Health Resort Special<br \/>\nRelax, Rejuvenate &amp; Meditate.<br \/>\nJoin us for a wellness stay.<\/p>\n<p>Vacation Get-away<br \/>\nPamper Yourself &amp; Relax.<br \/>\nJoin us for a stress-free stay.<\/p>\n<p>Beach Vacation Rentals<br \/>\nStressed, tired, need to escape?<br \/>\nFeel your cares melt away&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Health Resort Vacation<br \/>\nGet in shape today at our<br \/>\nprivate paradise vacation getaway.<\/p>\n<p>However, well written ads are only part of an effective pay per click<br \/>\nsearch engine marketing campaign. Once your PPC creatives persuade a<br \/>\nsearcher to click, your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bruceclay.com\/in\/\/ppc\/landingpages\/\">landing page<\/a><br \/>\nmust now convert them. It should look professional and above all offer<br \/>\nthem what they were looking for in the first place.
