Bruce Clay, Inc. Announces Small Biz Discovery Contest Winners
Brent Rangen of Optimize Guyz wins Grand Prize with submission on the fundamentals for a holistic SEO plan.
SIMI VALLEY, CA, July 2, 2010 – Global Internet marketing firm Bruce Clay, Inc. is pleased to announce that Brent Rangen of Optimize Guyz in Minnesota is its Small Biz Discovery Contest Grand Prize winner. Rangen takes home a Platinum Passport to Search Engine Strategies 2010 (SES) in San Francisco in August and a seat in the one-day Bruce Clay SEO training workshop. The category winners, Jeff Toler of Toler Design in Southern California and Dvir Weininger of CMS Buffet in Toronto, will receive free seats in the signature Bruce Clay, Inc. SEOToolSet® Training Course.
“Our contest this year focused on meeting the Internet marketing needs of small businesses, and the articles we received offer some valuable recommendations for small business SEO and social media,” said Bruce Clay, president. “I would like to congratulate Brent Rangen for his thoughtful contribution to our SEO Small Biz Discovery Contest, which was extremely well received among his industry peers.”
The small business SEO and SMM articles submitted to the Small Biz Discovery Contest answered the challenge question, “What one recommendation would you give to small-business owners to improve their online presence?” Rangen’s submission, “SEO for Small Business: Get an SEO Primer,” focused on the fundamentals of a holistic SEO plan: back links, on-page SEO, and analytics and keyword research.
On his blog, Rangen explained why he entered the contest, “Bruce Clay is a heavy hitter in the SEO industry. He has long been setting the pace for the rest of us. So, when I saw the chance to participate in a contest on their site I jumped on it.”
The winning articles will be featured in the July edition of the Bruce Clay, Inc. SEO Newsletter.
