Bruce Clay Celebrates Melbourne Cup Day

  • Print Friendly, PDF & Email

At Bruce Clay we know SEO is a race –  so when it comes to Melbourne Cup we are all up for a bit of horsing around. The AU team had a lovely afternoon out at Darling Harbour thanks to the Watershead and their elegant hospitality for the ‘race that stops a nation’.

The boys had a big syndicate worked out (spreadsheets with pivot tables to calculate just which horse was bound for fame and fortune) but it was the girls in the office who ended up bringing home the bacon (and the fashions on the field!).

Best hat of the night goes (tied) to Cheech for his purple hair extensions and Anneliese for her umbrella hat (function and fashion!). A big congrats to team Des and Cheech for winning the Race Trivia competition – and also to Martin who eventually understood and followed the rules. Finally a MASSIVE thanks to Kimberley for organising everything flawlessly – with fashionable fascinator in toe!

Next up on the calendar is the Christmas Party with planning is in full swing.

I remember last years race day/night… messy! I should be down in Sydney for a day or so in February if I get the chance I might pop in and say hello!
